Ant Esports 80 Plus Gold PSU

The Ant Esports 80 Plus Gold power supplies here cover 650W to 850W, all in the standard ATX form factor. The original FG series, the FG650, FG750 and FG850, uses non-modular cables and a 120mm silent fan. The FG750 V2 and FG850 V2 move to fully modular cables, and the FG850 V2 is listed as compatible with PCIe 5.1. Ant Esports covers them with a 3 year warranty.

Choose the wattage first. Add up the graphics card and processor power draw and leave headroom: the FG650 suits a mid-range gaming or office build, 750W gives room for a stronger graphics card, and 850W fits high-end cards or builds planned for later upgrades. Then decide on cables. Non-modular units have every cable fixed, which is fine in a roomy case, while the fully modular V2 models let you fit only the cables you use, which helps airflow and tidy cable routing. The 750 Watt and 850 Watt models each have their own page for a side-by-side look.
