The 80 Plus Bronze power supplies here run from the 450W Cooler Master MWE 450 Bronze V2 to the 850W Ant Esports RX850. In between are the MSI MAG A550BN, A650BN and A750BN PCIE5, the DeepCool PL550D, PL650D and PL750D, the Ant Esports RX550, RX650 (both also in white) and RX750, and the Cooler Master MWE Bronze 550, 650 and 750 V3, built to the ATX 3.1 standard. All are ATX units with non-modular cables. MSI, DeepCool and Cooler Master cover theirs with a 5 year warranty. Ant Esports gives 3 years.
Choose by wattage first. A 450W or 550W unit suits office PCs and builds on integrated or entry-level graphics. 650W covers most mid-range gaming cards. 750W and 850W leave headroom for more powerful graphics cards and future upgrades. Check your graphics card maker's recommended PSU rating before deciding. Each wattage has its own page (550 Watt, 650 Watt, 750 Watt, 850 Watt), and the Ant Esports, DeepCool and MSI Bronze units have brand pages. Since every cable is fixed, plan where spare leads will sit in the case.
Frequently asked questions
Is an 80 Plus Bronze PSU good enough for a gaming PC? Yes, for most builds. Bronze certifies efficiency, not quality of power. A correctly sized Bronze unit runs a gaming PC well, while Gold wastes slightly less power as heat.
Will these power supplies fit my cabinet? They are standard ATX units, so they fit ATX and micro-ATX cabinets with a standard PSU bay. Small cases that need SFX units will not take them.
Which models support newer graphics cards? The Cooler Master MWE V3 units are ATX 3.1, and the MSI MAG A750BN PCIE5 lists PCIe 5.0 support.
