The dual channel kits here are all DDR5 pairs: G.Skill Flare X5, Ripjaws S5, Ripjaws M5 RGB, Trident Z5 RGB and Trident Z5 Neo RGB, plus Corsair Vengeance and Vengeance RGB. Capacities come as 32GB (2x16GB), 48GB (2x24GB), 64GB (2x32GB) and 128GB (2x64GB). Speeds run from the 5600 MT/s Corsair Vengeance 48GB to the 8200 MT/s Trident Z5 CK RGB 48GB, with most kits at 6000 MT/s. G.Skill covers its kits with a 10 year warranty; Corsair gives 10 years on the Vengeance kits and a limited lifetime warranty on the Vengeance RGB White.

These kits fit only DDR5 motherboards, such as AMD AM5 boards and Intel boards built for DDR5, not DDR4 ones. For a Ryzen build, the AMD EXPO kits at 6000 MT/s CL30 or CL28, like the Flare X5 and Trident Z5 Neo RGB, are the usual pick; for Intel, the XMP kits such as the Ripjaws S5 6400 and Trident Z5 RGB 6800 and 7200. 32GB suits gaming, 64GB editing and streaming, 128GB heavy workstation loads. The 6000 MHz, 32 GB and 48 GB kits have their own pages, as do the G.Skill dual channel kits.

Frequently asked questions

Will an AMD EXPO kit work on an Intel board? It runs at base DDR5 speed, but the EXPO profile is written for AMD. Kits labelled Intel XMP / AMD EXPO, such as the Ripjaws S5 6000 CL36, carry both.

What separates the Flare X5 from the Trident Z5 Neo RGB? Both are AMD EXPO kits; the Flare X5 is low profile without RGB, which helps clear large air coolers, while the Neo adds RGB lighting.
