32 GB Dual Channel RAM
The 32 GB dual channel kits here are all DDR5 in a 2x16GB layout, running from 6000 MHz to 7600 MHz. They range from the G.Skill Flare X5 and Ripjaws S5 at 6000 MHz CL36 to the Trident Z5 Neo RGB F5-6000J2836G16GX2-TZ5NR at CL28. Faster options include the Trident Z5 RGB at 7200 MHz, the Trident Z5 F5-7600J3646G16GX2-TZ5RK at 7600 MHz and the white Corsair Vengeance RGB CMH32GX5M2B6400C32W at 6400 MHz CL32. G.Skill covers its kits with a 10 year warranty, and Corsair gives a limited lifetime warranty.
Choose by platform first. For AMD Ryzen on AM5, the 6000 MHz AMD EXPO kits such as the Flare X5 and Trident Z5 Neo RGB are the usual pick. Lower CAS latency (CL30 or CL28 against CL36) adds a small gain. For Intel processors on a DDR5 board, use the Intel XMP kits. The 7200 and 7600 MHz kits need a motherboard and processor that can hold those speeds. The Ripjaws S5 and Ripjaws M5 RGB carry both XMP and EXPO profiles. RGB and white versions are purely cosmetic. The G.Skill kits alone are on their own page.
Frequently asked questions
Will these kits work on a DDR4 motherboard? No. Every kit here is DDR5, which fits only DDR5 motherboards.
Is 32 GB in 2x16GB enough for gaming and editing? Yes. It covers current games, streaming and most photo and video editing, and the two sticks run in dual channel mode.
What is the difference between EXPO and XMP kits? EXPO profiles are tuned for AMD boards and XMP profiles for Intel boards. Each profile sets the rated speed and timings in the BIOS.
