G.Skill 32GB Dual Channel RAM
The G.Skill 32GB dual channel kits here are all DDR5, sold as 2x16GB pairs. They run from 6000 MHz kits such as the Flare X5 F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5, the low-profile Ripjaws S5 and the Trident Z5 Neo RGB F5-6000J2836G16GX2-TZ5NR (CL28) up to the Trident Z5 RGB 7200MHz F5-7200J3445G16GX2-TZ5RK and the Trident Z5 7600MHz F5-7600J3646G16GX2-TZ5RK. Latencies range from CL28 to CL36. There are RGB and non-RGB options, plus white versions of the Trident Z5 RGB and Flare X5. G.Skill covers them with a 10 year warranty.
Choose first by platform. The Flare X5 and Trident Z5 Neo kits carry AMD EXPO profiles and suit Ryzen AM5 builds, where 6000 MHz is a comfortable match for Ryzen DDR5 processors. The Trident Z5 RGB CL30-40, 7200 MHz and 7600 MHz kits carry Intel XMP only. They need an Intel DDR5 board with strong memory support to hold those speeds. The Ripjaws S5, Ripjaws M5 RGB and Trident Z5 RGB CL36 kits have both XMP and EXPO, so they work on either platform. Among the 6000 MHz kits, lower CL figures mean tighter timings. The low-profile Ripjaws S5 and Flare X5 are easier to fit under large air coolers.
Frequently asked questions
Will these kits work in a DDR4 motherboard? No. Every kit here is DDR5 and needs a DDR5 motherboard.
Can an EXPO-only kit be used on an Intel system? It will usually boot at the default JEDEC speed, but the rated 6000 MHz profile is meant for AMD. For Intel, pick an XMP or dual-profile kit.
What is the difference between the CL28, CL30 and CL36 6000 MHz kits? All three run at the same speed. The lower CL kits have tighter timings and slightly lower latency.
