All the 6000 MHz memory here is DDR5. G.Skill brings the plain Ripjaws S5 and Flare X5 and the RGB Trident Z5, Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Ripjaws M5 RGB, several also in white. Corsair adds the Vengeance RGB 16GB and the Vengeance 128GB (2x64GB). Capacities run from single 16GB sticks to 128GB kits. Timings run from CL28 on the Trident Z5 Neo RGB F5-6000J2836G16GX2-TZ5NR to CL40 on the Corsair 128GB kit. G.Skill and Corsair cover them with a 10 year warranty.

Check the profile first. EXPO-only kits, such as the Flare X5 and Trident Z5 Neo RGB, are tuned for AMD Ryzen processors on AM5 boards, where 6000 MHz is the speed AMD recommends. Kits marked Intel XMP only are tuned for Intel DDR5 boards. Kits with both Intel XMP and AMD EXPO suit either platform. For capacity, 32GB (2x16GB) covers gaming, 64GB suits editing and heavy multitasking, and 128GB is for workstation loads. A matched two-stick kit runs in dual channel more reliably than two single sticks. The 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB filters and the Dual Channel page narrow the list, and the G.Skill modules have a page of their own.

Frequently asked questions

Will 6000 MHz DDR5 RAM work on a DDR4 motherboard? No. DDR5 modules are keyed differently and need a board with DDR5 slots.

Is CL30 worth it over CL36? At the same 6000 MHz, CL30 gives lower latency. The gain shows mainly in CPU-bound games.

Do I need to turn on XMP or EXPO? Yes. Without it, DDR5 runs at a lower default speed. Enabling the profile in the BIOS sets 6000 MHz.
