The 64 GB 6000 MHz kits here are all G.Skill DDR5 sets of two 32 GB modules. They run from the plain, non-RGB Ripjaws S5 and Flare X5 F5-6000J3040G32GX2-FX5 to the RGB Trident Z5 RGB F5-6000J3636F32GX2-TZ5RK and Trident Z5 Neo RGB F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5NR. White versions such as the F5-6000J3636F32GX2-TZ5NRW are also here. Timings are either CL36 at 1.35V or a tighter CL30 at 1.40V. G.Skill covers them with a 10 year warranty.

Every kit is DDR5, so it needs a DDR5 motherboard. That means an AM5 board for AMD Ryzen, or a DDR5 board for recent Intel Core and Core Ultra processors. Match the memory profile to the platform:

  • The Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Flare X5 kits carry AMD EXPO.
  • The CL30 Ripjaws S5 and CL30 Trident Z5 RGB kits carry Intel XMP.
  • The CL36 Trident Z5 RGB and Ripjaws S5 kits carry both.

CL30 gives lower latency and a small gain in games, while CL36 runs at a lower voltage. Choose RGB or non-RGB to suit the build. The low Ripjaws S5 heatspreader clears large air coolers more easily. 64 GB suits video editing, 3D work, virtual machines, and gaming with heavy multitasking alongside.

Frequently asked questions

Will these kits work on a DDR4 motherboard? No. DDR5 modules do not fit DDR4 slots, so the board must support DDR5.

What is the difference between the CL30 and CL36 kits? Both run at 6000 MHz. The CL30 kits have tighter timings at 1.40V, while the CL36 kits use looser timings at 1.35V.

Which kit suits an AMD Ryzen AM5 build? The EXPO kits, such as the Trident Z5 Neo RGB and Flare X5, both of which are tuned for AM5 boards.
