1 TB Hard Disk Drives

The 1 TB hard drives here are all SATA and come in both sizes. For desktops there is the 3.5 inch Seagate BarraCuda ST1000DM014 at 7200 RPM with 256MB cache and the Seagate SkyHawk ST1000VX013, a surveillance drive with 256MB cache that supports up to 64 HD cameras. For laptops there are two 2.5 inch 5400 RPM drives: the WD Blue WD10SPZX and the Seagate BarraCuda ST1000LM048 with 128MB cache. WD and Seagate cover the Blue and BarraCuda drives with a 2 year warranty; Seagate gives the SkyHawk 3 years.

Choose by where the drive goes. A desktop with a free 3.5 inch bay suits the faster 7200 RPM BarraCuda for games, media and backups.
