5600 MHz DDR5 RAM
Corsair Vengeance 16GB DDR5 5600MHz CL40 1.25V Intel XMP RAM
G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32GB DDR5 5600MHz CL36-36-36-89 1.25V Intel XMP RAM
The 5600 MHz memory here is all DDR5 desktop RAM from G.Skill and Corsair. It runs from single 16GB sticks such as the G.Skill Ripjaws S5 16GB CL40, the G.Skill Aegis 5 16GB CL36 in silver and the Corsair Vengeance 16GB CL40, to the G.Skill Ripjaws S5 32GB CL36 single module and the Corsair Vengeance 48GB (2x24GB) CL40 kit. None of them have RGB lighting. G.Skill and Corsair each cover their modules with a 10 year warranty.
These modules fit DDR5 motherboards only. They will not work in DDR4 boards. The XMP or EXPO profile stored on each module sets the rated 5600 MHz speed and timings in the BIOS with a single setting. Install two matching sticks to run in dual channel. Two identical 16GB modules give 32GB, while the Corsair 48GB kit comes as a matched pair. CL36 parts have slightly lower latency than CL40 parts at the same speed. The Aegis 5 is the only module here that carries an AMD EXPO profile as well as Intel XMP. The single sticks are grouped on the Single Channel page, and there are separate pages for 16 GB and 32 GB at 5600 MHz and for G.Skill 5600 MHz RAM.
Frequently asked questions
Will 5600 MHz DDR5 work on an AM5 motherboard? Yes, AM5 boards use DDR5. The G.Skill Aegis 5 is the one model here with a native AMD EXPO profile.
Should I buy one 32GB stick or two 16GB sticks? Two matching 16GB sticks run in dual channel for more bandwidth. A single 32GB stick leaves a slot free for adding a second one later.
Can I use 5600 MHz RAM on a board rated for lower speeds? Yes. DDR5 modules fall back to the speed the board and processor support.
