850 Watt 80 Plus Gold Power Supplies

The 850 W 80 Plus Gold units here come from Corsair, Cooler Master, MSI, DeepCool and Ant Esports. They include the fully modular Corsair RM850x with its Zero RPM fan, the white RM850x Shift, the semi-modular Deepcool PN850M, the ATX 3.1 Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 V2 and the non-modular MSI MAG A850GN. The Cooler Master V SFX Gold 850 is the one SFX unit. The rest are standard ATX.

Decide on cabling, graphics card and warranty. Fully modular units such as the RM850x, FG850 V2, MWE Gold 850 V2 and V SFX let you fit only the cables you need. The FG850 and MAG A850GN have every cable fixed. For a graphics card with a 12V-2x6 connector, look at the units listed as ATX 3.1 or PCIe 5.1 ready: the MWE Gold 850 V2, V SFX, FG850 V2 and MAG A850GN. Warranty varies by maker. It runs 10 years on Corsair, DeepCool and the V SFX, 7 years on MSI, 5 years on the MWE Gold 850 V2 and 3 years on Ant Esports. The two Ant Esports models also have their own page.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between the RM850x and the RM850x Shift? Both are fully modular 850 W Gold units with a 10 year Corsair warranty. The Shift puts its cable connectors on the side of the unit and is listed here in white.

When should I pick the SFX model? Pick the Cooler Master V SFX Gold 850 for small form factor cases that only take an SFX power supply. Any ATX case suits the other models.
