The Seagate IronWolf 8TB NAS Hard Drive (ST8000VN004) is designed for 24×7 reliability, performance, and scalability in multi-bay NAS systems. With AgileArray technology for optimized RAID performance, reduced vibration, and power efficiency, this drive delivers consistent speeds and durability under heavy workloads. Built with CMR technology and RV sensors, it supports workloads up to 180TB per year and is compatible with one- to eight-bay NAS systems, home media servers, personal cloud storage, small offices, and workstations.
Experience up to 7200 RPM spin speed with sustained data rates up to 180MB/s and burst speeds of 6Gb/s. IronWolf Health Management actively monitors drive health when used with compatible NAS systems, providing real-time health updates and preventative measures to reduce downtime and ensure long-term data integrity. The drive features rotational vibration sensors to reduce drive strain and maintain peak performance in multi-user environments.
