1TB M.2 NVMe Gen 4 SSDs

The 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe drives here come from Samsung, WD and Corsair. They range from the Samsung 990 EVO, rated at 5000/4200 MB/s read/write, to the Samsung 990 PRO at 7450/6900 MB/s. In between are the 990 EVO Plus, WD Blue SN5100, Corsair MP600 ELITE, WD Black SN7100 and WD Black SN850X, all rated at 7000 MB/s read or more. The 990 PRO and SN850X also come in heatsink versions. Every drive carries a 5 year manufacturer warranty.

The 990 EVO Plus, SN5100, SN7100 and MP600 ELITE give full Gen 4 speed for a boot drive and for gaming. The 990 PRO and SN850X add a DRAM cache, which helps with long file copies, video editing and heavy multitasking. Choose a heatsink version for a PS5 or for a motherboard slot without its own cover. Choose a bare drive for a laptop, because the heatsink models do not fit most laptops. The Samsung and WD drives are also grouped on their own pages.
