960 GB 2.5 Inch SATA SSD

The one 960 GB 2.5 inch SATA SSD on this page is the Samsung PM893 960GB SATA 2.5 SSD (MZ-7L396000), a data-centre drive made for servers, NAS units and workstations that run all day. It reads at up to 550 MB/s and writes at up to 520 MB/s, close to the limit of SATA, with end-to-end data protection. Samsung covers it with a 5 year warranty.

It fits any bay that takes a standard 2.5 inch SATA drive, so it can directly replace a hard disk. The 960 GB figure is typical of enterprise SSDs, which reserve part of the flash for endurance.
