The ZOTAC RTX 5080 cards here cover both the SOLID and AMP Extreme families: the SOLID (ZT-B50800D-10P), SOLID OC, SOLID OC White Edition, AMP Extreme INFINITY and AMP Extreme INFINITY ULTRA. Every one uses the same GeForce RTX 5080 chip with 16GB of GDDR7, IceStorm 3.0 triple-fan cooling, PCIe 5.0, HDMI 2.1b and DisplayPort 2.1 outputs, with ray tracing and DLSS 4 support. ZOTAC covers them with a 3 + 2 years warranty.

Since the GPU and memory are identical, the choice comes down to clocks, size and looks. The SOLID is the base card, the SOLID OC adds a factory overclock, and the White Edition suits an all-white build. The AMP Extreme INFINITY cards add ZOTAC's infinity mirror lighting and are slightly larger at 332 mm long and 70 mm thick, against 329 mm and 67 mm for the SOLID models, so check your cabinet's GPU clearance before ordering. All five are rated at 360 W, take power through a single 12V-2x6 connector and call for an 850 W power supply. An ATX 3.0 or 3.1 PSU with a native 12V-2x6 cable makes for the cleanest install.

Frequently asked questions

Will a ZOTAC RTX 5080 work on a PCIe 4.0 motherboard? Yes. These PCIe 5.0 cards run in PCIe 4.0 and 3.0 x16 slots, and the performance difference on PCIe 4.0 is very small.

What is the difference between the SOLID and SOLID OC? They share the same chip, 16GB GDDR7 memory, cooler and size. The SOLID OC ships with a higher factory boost clock.

What power supply does an RTX 5080 need? ZOTAC recommends an 850 W power supply with one 12V-2x6 connector for all of these cards.
