Overview
The Gigabyte B860M K is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the Intel B860 Express chipset with an LGA1851 socket. It supports Intel Core Ultra processors (Series 2) and is part of Gigabyte's Ultra Durable (UD) range.
Power comes from a Hybrid 4+1+2 phases VRM design, with a UD power connector (24-pin ATX and 8-pin CPU with UD Solid Pin). Heatsinks cover the VRM and the chipset, and Smart Fan 6 offers PWM and DC fan control with customizable fan curves. Memory support is 2 x DDR5 DIMM sockets in dual channel, up to 128 GB, with DDR5 overclocking up to 8800 MT/s and the DDR5 XMP Booster feature.
Storage includes 2 x PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 slots and 4 x SATA 6Gb/s connectors. Expansion consists of one PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and one PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Networking is a Realtek GbE LAN with bandwidth management, and the board has HDMI output, Hi-Fi audio with high-end audio capacitors and Audio Noise Guard, and 2 x addressable RGB headers.
