The WD 4TB SSDs here are all M.2 NVMe drives. They run from the PCIe Gen4 WD Blue SN5100 and WD Black SN7100 (up to 6900 and 7000 MB/s read), through the WD Black SN850X at up to 7300 MB/s, to the PCIe Gen5 WD Black SN8100 at up to 14900 MB/s read.
